Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center

Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center celebrated the opening of the new Center for Women and Children. DTI had the opportunity to install sculptures, wall coverings and state-of-the-art technology that reflected the spirit of Daytona, from the beautiful beaches and blue skies to the Daytona International Speedway. The racecar theme was so much fun and we have no doubt the children (and adults!) will enjoy these spaces for many years to come.

Creating this amazing environment for women and children with the FHMMC executive team was such an honor and we look forward to working together again in the future!

Ten inpatient rooms take the patient out of the hospital and transport them to a sunny beach!

3D reliefs and sculptures were added to each patient room in the form of hang gliders, biplanes, blimps and clouds!

Eight treatment rooms in the emergency department showcase the excitement of the Daytona International Speedway!

We make sure the theme is carried through the nurse’s stations, too.

Every corner you turn reveals more of the theme. This 3D palm tree really brings the wall coverings to life!

Thanks to the architects, this corridor design is stunning! It certainly makes our designs even more fantastic!

You can almost smell the coconut sunscreen, can’t you?

FHMMC Chief Operating Officer, Darlinda Copeland and V.P. of Ancillary Services, April Chilson, were the official testers of the interactive touch screen games in the children’s playroom!

Thank you, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, for allowing DTI to be a part of this incredible project!
